Human trafficking is a horrific crime that is happening in our community, but we are not powerless against it. Join me in raising awareness and investing in survivors as they reclaim their lives.
AncoraTN is one of the leading agencies in Tennessee responding to survivors of human trafficking. As a member of AncoraTN's (formerly End Slavery Tennessee) Board of Directors, I am personally committed to investing in the comprehensive, life-changing resources they offer. In 2022, we opened the 35-acre Survivor Restoration Campus, the biggest solution to human trafficking in Tennessee history. We've enhanced our programs for survivors, yet there
is still so much more that’s needed to nurture survivor healing and
strategically combat human trafficking. I am also the Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee and oversee a group of people helping us raise enough money to build, maintain, and support the new campus. I have found much fulfillment in watching the great work this group is doing in the community!
One moment that really struck me recently is hearing about a survivor who moved into the new residence being so grateful for a hot shower. It’s the big things, but also these little moments that are so important—that treat a survivor with humanity. I hope every survivor who moves into the Survivor Restoration Campus knows their dignity and worth.

To give you some sort of context, We are currently estimating that it costs $12,000 to support a survivor for a year in our Aftercare program. The money we raise means a survivor has an opportunity to heal and rebuild their life.
